Biohazard Remediation, which is more commonly referred to as Crime Scene Cleanup, involves the identification and removal of blood and body fluids following a criminal act, trauma related incident or accident. It is a service that is in great demand with very few qualified companies available to meet that demand.
Following a crime, traumatic event or accident, and after the removal of the body or injured person, the home owner or office management are faced with the daunting challenge of removing the blood and fluids that remain. More often than not, a police officer, firefighter or medical examiner will recommend the property owner contact a crime scene cleanup company. Most of the services required for proper remediation will be covered under the property or home owner’s insurance policy and requires only the policy deductible be paid by the insured.
Why Should I Trust this Course
Bio-Trauma 911, Inc. was established in 2005 and is owned and operated by an Indiana Law Enforcement Officer and a disabled US Military Veteran. Our one of a kind crime scene cleanup training course, also referred to as biohazard remediation training, has been attended by students from as far away as the Middle East, South America, Africa and Canada. You won’t find a more comprehensive course than the one we provide. We take real life scenarios, like suicides and homicides, and recreate them for hands-on practical application. Our instructors, who remediate crime and trauma scenes on a fulltime basis, will teach you how to safely and professionally remediate different scenes in different settings, similar to what you will face in the real world. Be sure to reserve your seat soon, as they don’t last long and we only take eight (8) students per class.
The Bio-Trauma 911 Crime Scene Cleanup Training Course is only offered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our course is open to both individuals and businesses located in the continental United States and abroad.
Participating students will be welcomed to a learning environment that has been structured to promote a solid understanding of the crime scene cleanup process. During the classroom portion of our training course, students will be provided with several manuals, materials on CD and offered refreshments. During the dynamic hands-on portion, students simply walk next door to our training suite, complete with several mock crime & trauma scene scenarios.
Students will stay in a hotel close to the training facility and will receive a complimentary ride to and from the hotel for training participation when needed. In addition, students who require assistance will be picked up at the airport or bus terminal and returned for their departing flight or bus trip.

2023 Training Sessions
Due in part to our economy, we’ve elected at this time to offer only our online certified crime scene cleanup training course. Unfortunately, the cost of hosting a five day in-person training course has increased considerably over the past year. Since we have no choice but to pass this increase on to our students, the overall cost of attending our course in Indianapolis was more than most students were able to afford.
Our online biohazard remediation course has been available since 2022 and it’s about 75% less expensive than our hand-on training course. Based on feedback from our students, nearly every one felt that the training was structured in such a way that actual hands-on training was not needed or missed.
